Embedded Objects 1.9 released

Mozilla Foundation just approved the new version of Embedded Objects.

I made some minor modifications to support Silverlight objects. Microsoft being Microsoft added a new attribute to the object tag, source, instead of using the existing src attribute.

I also updated the QuickTime detection code: now it shows the original QuickTime file and the actual movie file in the list.

You can download it here.

I fixed many of its problems, mainly Apple screwing around with anything other than iTunes trying to download its trailers. I’m waiting for Mozilla approving it.
